Due to global climate issues, many efforts have been made to provide biodegradable and environmentally friendly materials for the next era of composite materials. Due to the increasing awareness of natural fiber composites, they are being used in various applications to limit the emission of ozone-depleting substances. Green composites are great alternatives to petroleum-based materials that are destructive to the planet. In addition to many advantages of natural fiber composites, they present several difficulties in use, such as high moisture content and poor similarity between fibers and mesh, poor fire resistance, lower durability and strength compared to weaker natural fibers. This chapter provides a recent study on the types of natural fibers and their applications, so that green composites can be used in various applications to better understand.
