Public Administration has the duty of providing citizens with auditable information, ensuring transparency and participation in the process of auditing the management of public resources. Transparency Portals were created through national laws with that objective. However, to ensure effective understanding from the users it is necessary that data has quality of usability, interactivity and accessibility, which are not present in most Portals. With that, this exploratory and descriptive paper used literature review to understand the laws and concepts from User Experience (UX) relevant to the problem. Additionally, research was done through surveys created and applied to target audiences to identify pain points in UX quality and be used as basis for future synthesis of guidelines that allow improvement in usability, interactivity and accessibility in Transparency Portals.
