The Mediating Effect of Knowledge Acquisition and Its Application: Perception of Ease of Use and Intention to Use in the University Context
摘要
This study examines the mediating effect of knowledge acquisition and its application, specifically analyzing the perception of ease of use and intention to use in a university context. Utilizing a quantitative methodology, the research employed a non-experimental, cross-sectional design, analyzing data from a sample of 235 university students. The investigation revealed that perceived ease of use significantly enhances both the acquisition and application of knowledge. While the intent to use positively impacts knowledge acquisition, it does not strongly affect the application of this knowledge. The crucial mediator in this relationship is the actual acquisition of knowledge, which significantly bolsters the application of the learned material. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of developing e-learning platforms that are intuitive and user-friendly. By improving the usability of these platforms, educational institutions can significantly enhance both the acquisition and application of knowledge, thereby optimizing educational outcomes in the university setting. This research provides valuable insights for educational technology developers focused on enhancing digital learning tools in higher education.
