This study investigates the key factors influencing knowledge transfer between academia and industry, focusing on four variables: Research Capability (RC), Industry Collaboration (IC), Innovation Culture (ICU), and Intellectual Property Management (IPM). Data from 589 participants, including professionals, instructors, business managers, and students, were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). Results show that IPM had the most significant impact on knowledge transfer (B = 0.296, T = 7.941, p < 0.001), highlighting its importance. RC followed closely (B = 0.303, T = 7.311, p < 0.001), while ICU also had a significant effect (B = 0.137, T = 3.916, p < 0.001). IC had a positive but comparatively smaller impact (B = 0.091, T = 2.473, p = 0.007). These findings emphasize the need for a holistic approach integrating all four factors to enhance knowledge transfer efficiency between academic institutions and industry, promoting innovation and economic growth. This study provides valuable insights into the mechanisms driving effective knowledge exchange.
