The purpose of this study is to examine at the relationship between healthcare service quality and patient trust in private hospitals in Palestine, as well as to see if hospital image mediates the relationship between these two variables. To achieve these goals, a research model was created, and a self-administered questionnaire was delivered to a randomly selected sample of clinic patients in private hospitals in Palestine’s West Bank. The research model was evaluated using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with the Smart-PLS software, with a sample of 300 respondents. The statical results showed that healthcare service quality and hospital image had a large beneficial impact on patient trust, as well as a favorable and significant effect on hospital image. Hospital image was also discovered to mediate the association between healthcare service quality and patient trust. These statistical findings provide directions to legislators and private hospital administrators on how to improve service quality and hospital image in order to increase patient trust. Furthermore, hospital officials should prioritise improving the hospital’s image. Managers must recognize that a positive hospital brand image is essential for boosting perceived service quality and patient trust. This study presents a complete view of the interplay between healthcare service quality, hospital image, and patient trust, which can serve as a foundation for future research and empirical support for the relationships between these aspects. The report also suggests avenues for future research in this subject.

摘要
