Technopreneurship has become a forefront in the era of technology globalization because it has the ability to stimulate economic growth; yet entrepreneurial intention among Malaysian students is considered to be relatively low. Although the government is aware of the importance of technopreneurship and has taken great efforts to produce a number of technopreneurs among graduates, the number of technology-based company launches among students remains notably low. Therefore, the research objective is to determine the technopreneurial intention among university students through perceived behavioral control, subjective norms, and technopreneurial education. The study was carried out among 373 undergraduate students who enroll in a technology entrepreneurship course in Malaysia, through purposive sampling technique. To examine the relationship, this paper employs the PLS-SEM approach to analyze the data. The findings show that there is a positive relationship between perceived behavioral control and subjective attitude towards technopreneurial intention, whereas the relationship between technopreneurial education and technopreneurial intention was found not significant. Overall, the study has provided new evidence in technopreneurial intention studies that helps policymakers to have a better understanding of technology entrepreneurship among students and be able to make a better strategy in the future.
