Major land redevelopments represent an opportunity to implement a comprehensive and innovative approach to urban planning that aims to establish a “complete community” that is inclusive, and sustainable. We propose a methodology that provides AI-integrated HCI innovations that support business practices in the real estate and urban planning sectors. Real-estate developers and city planners rely on architectural modelling for their business planning but seldom use tools from other disciplines, including HCI or user experience design as indicated in tool taxonomy research. This paper explores integrating Large Language Model AI-generated personas, complete community research, and procedural visualization to inform and guide the planning and design process. We provide a case study with a real estate business partner who is developing a former industrial site. Presenting persona-driven amenity needs in a 3D visual context made the complex data spatial, digestible, and immediate, supporting more informed discussion and planning with broader stakeholders. This ensured that the voices of diverse community members were embedded into the planning process and that business development areas were properly supported, leading to a more inclusive and responsive complete community design. This approach creates a new business-focused methodology, highlighting the potential for AI and visualization tools to revolutionize the creation of more adaptable, resilient, and inclusive complete communities.
