Authors present their experience with Pitanguy’s technique in Mexico for reduction mammoplasty and mastopexy. The technique is versatile and easy to perform, without pre-established patterns or measures, allowing surgeon’s appreciation to decide shape and volume, as well as replacement of nipple-areola complex. This technique matches with Mexican women standards, accepting resulting scars but compensating with the shape and volume obtained. Even more, reduced and low frequency complications make this technique safe and trustable.
