摘要
The Black Sea megadepressionBlack Sea megadepression is a tectono-geodynamic node located in the zone of tectonic interaction at the southern edge of the East European PlatformEast European Platform and the northern branch of the Alpine-Himalayan mountain-fold belt.Alpine-Himalayan mountain-fold belt. Changes in the geodynamic regime over geological time could not but affect its complex, but as yet insufficiently studied, deep structure. The unusual structural-tectonic geometry, which does not correspond to established models of continental extension of the crust, still leaves many questions unanswered about the deep structuredeep structure, origin, and evolution of the Black Sea, which are subjects of lively debate (Graham et al., 2013; Nikishin et al., 2015a; Nikishin et al., 2015b; Nikishin et al., 2017; Starostenko et al., 2015; Gintov et al., 2016; Yanovskaya et al., 2016; Kobolev, 2016; Rusakov et al., 2023). Questions remain unresolved, specifically about the time and mechanism of formation of the Black Sea megadepression as a whole and its western and eastern components (Kobolev, 2017).
