Vomiting in Children
摘要
The differential diagnosis of emesis in a pediatric patient is broad and can range from benign conditions, such as gastroesophageal reflux, to emergent ones, like malrotation with midgut volvulus. In addition, this differential changes in different pediatric age groups. This chapter seeks to give pediatric primary care and emergency providers information on how to work up a pediatric patient presenting with emesis and when surgical consultation is recommended.
