The historic center of Chucuito, Puno, faces accessibility challenges that impact social inclusion and economic development. This study evaluates the physical barriers that limit mobility for people with disabilities and examines their implications for the local economy. A quantitative approach was adopted, using geospatial analysis and field experiments to identify critical intervention areas. Data were collected via GPS and topographic analysis and then processed with techniques such as Kernel density and network analysis to delineate the study area and main routes. Findings indicate that 80% of the streets analyzed have accessibility deficiencies, significantly hindering mobility and economic participation for people with disabilities. This study recommends urban reconfiguration to widen sidewalks and install mechanical assistance systems, enhancing mobility and revitalizing the economy while preserving cultural heritage. It calls for inclusive urban policies that balance accessibility with conservation in similar historical contexts. Additionally, further research is suggested to explore accessibility approaches in other areas with diverse topographic characteristics.
