Fat pad excision involves removing excess suprapubic fat to give the appearance of a longer penis. Concomitant fat pad excision improves patient satisfaction after penile implant insertion. However, this procedure increases operative time, the number of incisions, and the risk of seroma, thereby increasing the risk of penile implant infection. By decreasing the incidence of postoperative seroma, we reduce the risk of penile implant infection.

Fat pad excision involves removing excess suprapubic fat to give the appearance of a longer penis. Concomitant fat pad excision improves patient satisfaction after penile implant insertion.
