An IoT Framework for Crop and Fertilizer Recommendation Model Using Artificial Intelligence Approach for Smart Farming

Agriculture is one of the major sectors that has an impact on a country’s economic growth. In nations like India, most of the population depends on agriculture for a living. Plants need nutrients to grow and produce more. Manure, soil, and fertilizers can all provide plants with the nutrients they require. Farmers frequently have very little control over the use of fertilizer. They therefore want solid guidance on how to apply fertilizer efficiently to increase yields and decrease waste. Engineered climate change is currently lowering crop yields and making it harder for farmers to estimate future harvests, which will have a negative impact on their economies. By the use of machine learning, one of the most cutting-edge technologies in crop prediction, this research study assists the novice farmer in planting the appropriate crops. The agriculture industry needs technical breakthroughs to increase output while reducing waste. So, by creating a website that offers crop and fertilizer suggestions, our main objective is to make it simple for farmers or other users to work in their fields. These models are created using machine learning algorithms like decision trees, SVM, random forests, etc.
