This project presents an in-depth analysis of ethyl alcohol exports, using data visualizations to uncover trends, key export destinations, and the various factors influencing export volumes over time. Through advanced data science techniques and detailed visual analytics, we examine trade patterns to reveal seasonality in exports, regional preferences, and fluctuating demand across global markets. This study delves into the economic, regulatory, and environmental factors shaping the ethyl alcohol trade, providing a nuanced understanding of how international policies, trade agreements, and geopolitical events impact export dynamics. Additionally, we assess the role of production capacity, pricing, and regional competition in driving market shifts. Our visualizations highlight the primary exporting and importing countries, enabling a comparative analysis of regional and global market forces that underpin the trade landscape. Our findings show a great shift in countries exporting ethyl alcohol in the last 30 years, with exports greatly shifting from South America to Canada and India. We also note a great increase in exports in general in the past 20 years with Canada being the main market for USA ethyl alcohol. These insights can support data-driven decision-making, enhance competitiveness, and inform strategic planning in a highly dynamic and globally interconnected market.
