In today’s digital era, the demand for secure, efficient, and flexible file storage and sharing solutions has become paramount. However, existing platforms often struggle to meet the challenges related to flexibility, user management, and security. In response to these challenges, this research presents Celerity Drive, an innovative file storage and sharing system designed to overcome these limitations. Celerity Drive employs a client-server architecture, integrating React and Next.js for the front end, Node.js with Express for the back-end, and Golang for proxy handling. Notable features include robust authentication through Clerk Auth, multi-tiered storage using Convex, MongoDB, and Firebase, as well as real-time communication via WebSockets and PeerJS for peer-to-peer sharing. Celerity Drive is engineered to enhance security, efficiency, and user management in file sharing, offering a scalable and adaptable solution for cloud-based environments. This system addresses the modern needs of organizations, significantly improving security, usability, and collaborative capabilities.
