In the conditions of the modern economy characterized by a high level of competition, dynamic changes in the markets and the need to improve the efficiency of business processes, optimization of warehouse management is becoming the most important component of the successful operation of enterprises. One of the modern approaches to solving the task of effective warehouse inventory management is the use of slotting technologies, which can significantly improve the organization of storage of goods, speed up the processes of their selection and reduce costs. The relevance of this study lies in the need to develop and implement effective methods for using slotting technologies as an important element of the warehouse management system. Given the growing requirements for speed and quality of service, as well as the importance of minimizing costs for warehousing and logistics, the study of the proposed technologies will help to determine the optimal solutions for increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises. The purpose of the study is to justify the use of slotting technologies as a tool for improving the warehouse management system. The main research method in the presented work is the analytical method, which includes the study and systematization of the theoretical aspects of the use of slotting technologies in the organization of warehouse management.
