In this chapter, we used document analysis to examine Zimbabwe’s STEM education policies and practices. We present an overview of the Zimbabwe government’s initiatives, curriculum integration, teacher development, infrastructure, partnerships and inclusivity efforts. We discuss the importance of STEM education in cultivating a skilled workforce and driving socio-economic growth in the country. We also highlight challenges in implementing effective STEM education and suggest strategies to overcome them. Moreover, we evaluate the impact of STEM education on students’ performance, career opportunities, and national development. We conclude the chapter by recommending further measures to advance STEM education in Zimbabwe, ensuring a stronger foundation for future generations.
