Ecological Logistics in the Processes of Restoration of Cattle Breeding in the Deoccupied Territories of Ukraine

The restoration of agriculture in the deoccupied territories of Ukraine is a strategically important task, especially in the context of livestock farming, which has suffered significant losses due to military operations. This article considers the role of ecological logistics as a key tool for effective rehabilitation and sustainable development of the livestock industry. The study focuses on an environmentally responsible approach to logistics processes, which ensures a balance between economic interests and environmental conservation. The main areas of ecological logistics in livestock farming include the optimization of transport routes, the introduction of resource-saving technologies, the minimization of emissions, and the rational use of water and land resources. The use of modern monitoring and management methods allows ensuring environmental safety at all stages of the logistics chain—from feed supply to product transportation. This is especially relevant for regions that have suffered environmental degradation as a result of military operations. Particular attention is paid to the challenges and opportunities associated with logistics in de-occupied territories, which are characterized by damaged infrastructure, contaminated soils and water resources. Proposals have been developed for the creation of environmentally friendly logistics centers and cooperatives that contribute to the restoration of livestock farming through the pooling of resources and the implementation of best environmental practices. The article also examines examples of international experience in the implementation of ecological logistics in post-conflict regions that can be adapted to Ukrainian realities. It is noted that ecological logistics not only contributes to the restoration of livestock farming, but is also an important factor in the country’s economic stability and food security. The use of ecologically friendly logistics strategies contributes to the formation of sustainable agro-industrial systems that minimize the negative impact on the environment and support biodiversity. The article emphasizes the need for an interdisciplinary approach, which includes cooperation between state structures, agricultural enterprises and scientific institutions to achieve a common goal—the restoration and development of cattle breeding in the deoccupied territories in harmony with nature. Thus, ecological logistics is not only a means of increasing the efficiency of the agricultural sector, but also an important tool for ensuring sustainable development and revival of the deoccupied regions of Ukraine.
