Rapid advances in AI application technologies have become of paramount importance, particularly in healthcare. This research aims to study the impact of artificial intelligence on improving the quality of decision-making in the health institutions under study, in the Sultanate of Oman. The research explores how AI dimensions (predictive analysis, analysis speed, information accuracy) affect decision-making processes. The research also aims to evaluate the role of artificial intelligence in reducing the rate of medical errors, enhancing efficiency for human and financial resource management, and improving administrative and clinical decisions. The research relies on the qualitative approach through interviews with workers in the health sector institutions under study, in order to explore their opinions and experiences in the use of artificial intelligence in the decision-making process. The research results are expected to show how AI contributes to enhancing the accuracy, speed and comprehensiveness of decisions while reducing medical errors. The findings will also identify the most impactful dimensions of AI and provide practical recommendations for the adoption of smart systems in health institutions under study in Oman.
