The availability and accessibility of Internet of Things (IoT) technology offers an opportunity to improve well-being and promote sustainable health management. This paper extends the concept of IoT in health to develop a conceptual framework grounded in Self Determination Theory (SDT), Health Belief Model (HBM), and Social Ecological Model (SEM). The insights from these theories were integrated to study perceptions of health benefits and risks and how IoT devices influence user adherence and motivation for encouraging sustained engagement. This research will contribute to the emerging knowledge of IoT in health, providing an understanding of IoT-enabled devices supporting sustained health management.

摘要
