This chapter describes a research study conducted in Italy with therapists from a predominantly systemic-relational approach according to the Milan Model and their clients who engaged in online therapies during the pandemic. The objective of the research was to investigate the quality of the therapeutic alliance. The sample involved was composed of 95 participants: 15 therapists and 80 clients. Among the clients were 70 individuals, three couples, and two families. Among the therapists, 12 conducted only individual therapies, and three of them conducted both individual and multiperson therapies. An ad hoc questionnaire was constructed, consisting of Likert scale questions and open-ended questions that included, for the evaluation of the therapeutic alliance in the online setting and in person, the instrument of SOFTA-s with a variation that would allow the administration also in individual therapies.
