Consequently, the use of climate-resilient agricultural methods is advised. Drought-resistant crops, agroforestry, and effective irrigation techniques enhance food security in precarious situations. This chapter highlights the implementation of climate-resilient infrastructure and transportation. Developing nations may alleviate train disruptions and washed-out roads caused by extreme storms and increasing sea levels through climate-resilient highways, storm-resistant bridges, and multimodal infrastructure systems in urban swamps. The chapter indicates that an effective health systems architecture, illness monitoring and reporting, and skilled medical practitioners are essential to address climate-sensitive health challenges, ranging from high heat to vector- and water-borne infections. Finally, community-oriented adaptation is recommended as a grassroots strategy.
