Role of Guide, Employees, and Other Stakeholders
摘要
Artificial intelligence (AI) offers new and fascinating possibilities in the world of work. This includes safe, responsible, and self-determined work as well as attractive and competitive jobs. AI assistance systems can take on strenuous or dangerous tasks and thus relieve the employee. It is also possible to support employees with complex processes and decisions. AI systems are revolutionizing human-technology interaction in the world of work. The collaboration between humans and machines will change as humans and technology will have to work more closely together. Machine learning and other AI technologies enable certain tasks to be carried out independently. This development inevitably leads to a readjustment of the distribution of tasks between people and technology. In order to shape this in the interests of people, technology must build on the advantages and potential of human thinking and action and place mutual complementarity—and not replacement or conflict—at the center of interaction. The better the balance between employees and the technological and economic potential of artificial intelligence is achieved, the greater the chance for the acceptance and use of artificial intelligence in the world of work. Only through clearly defined standards for the new distribution of tasks can secure jobs be created, qualified workers trained, and the design of good, decent work implemented.
