The ecological restoration of lakeside zones is not only transplanting aquatic plants but also requires the provision of external physical conditions suitable for their survival, such as matrix and hydrology. As a carrier of aquatic vegetation, the matrix must possess appropriate flexibility and moderate stiffness. Based on a comprehensive survey of the bank-collapsed lakeside zone of Chaohu Lake, this study systematically analyzed the causes of ecological degradation in the bank-collapsed lakeside zone and developed an integrated matrix–hydrology–biology restoration technology. This helped to solve the problems of matrix loss and hydraulic cutting on aquatic plants during the recovery growth period, creating an appropriate environment for aquatic plants. The demonstration project of the Wannianbu lakeside zone on the northwest coast of Chaohu Lake achieved a sound governance effect, offering an eco-friendly technology that can be implemented for the ecological restoration of the bank-collapsed lakeside zone of Chaohu Lake.

Windward Self-organizing Ecological Restoration Technology for Bank-Collapsed Lakeside Zone

摘要
