This chapter focuses on the first type of emotions in environmental movements. Given in a holistic framework in Chap. 3 , the first section analyses traumas to nature and people in environmental movements, deriving from moral shocks and consequently environmental struggles. The main causes of these traumas consist of certain actions. Various empirical data and diverse cases are integrated here to demonstrate the multiple impacts of environmental problems. These traumas result in rising anger, indignation, and disappointment among people. This chapter highlights traumas and their repercussions on people. Environmental struggles in everyday lives are explained by climate justice and a negative atmosphere where people decide to raise their voices and manifest their activism in public spaces.
