This chapter introduces a framework that takes into consideration energy/cost availability from renewable sources in order to decide upon future actions (e.g. refine cooling/heating strategy). This chapter evaluates alternative considerations for historical weather data in order to decide upon optimum (in terms of energy consumption and thermal comfort) configuration of HVAC system. Aspects related also with the implementation of control system as part of a low-cost embedded device (deep-edge device) are also considered within this chapter.
