This chapter introduces the concept “Feminine Artificial Intelligence” and considers societal assumptions about traditionally female traits attributed to AI: caring, empathy, and ecology. It questions patriarchal values that are anchored in AI models. With a focus on the generation of AI, the Feminine Artificial Intelligence (AI) project (Fischer & Larcher, 2024) is discussed, which aims to create systems that break away from current prejudices in favor of their own intellectual and social development. The project works to create adaptable, resilient, and socially inclusive AI systems based on gender-sensitive, post-patriarchal, and post-human approaches. This includes the demonstration and production of interventions through art, the artistic imagination of bias-free practices, and the training of AI models to learn from biases present in language and image models. The chapter advocates for a post-anthropocentric AI and for more inclusive, sustainable, ecological, and equitable global solutions.
