Development of a Software Tool for Implementing an Algorithm for Solving a Two-Factor Transportation Problem with Weighting Coefficients

In the article, the application of a web-based system for solving a two-factor transport problem with weighting coefficients is designed and implemented. The choice of architecture of the application of a web-based system for solving a two-factor transport problem with weighting coefficients is described. The object-oriented structure and database of the system are described. Some fragments of the software implementation are presented. The experimental verification of the software product is presented by describing the operation of the program on a real example. Each step of the proposed algorithm is described in detail. The results of the program’s operation are also analyzed with 3 other sets of weighting coefficients. The advantages of developing a software product for solving a two-factor transport problem with weighting coefficients according to the developed method are argued. Since this type of problem has not been described in the scientific literature, the proposed algorithm for solving a two-factor transport problem with weighting coefficients and its software implementation can be the basis for making management decisions by logistics and transport companies, which is the scientific novelty of this study.
