In this chapter we look at how to describe the motion of a body in 3D space, with a focus on displacements, and rotations. We strive to introduce concepts ‘intuitively’, that is utilizing everyday concepts (after all, we live in a 3D world); this allows us to make the connection between the 3D world around us, and the linear algebra with which we can encode things.
