This chapter presents general modelling methods for developing an individualized, deformable human model that interacts with a close-fitting garment. Various modelling approaches are introduced, newly developed, and evaluated in terms of their usability for clothing development. The outcome is a general guideline for building a human-clothing model efficiently. Additionally, the integration of 4D scan data for model validation is explored in detail. Based on these methods, most tightly fitted clothing can be modelled.

摘要

This chapter presents general modelling methods for developing an individualized, deformable human model that interacts with a close-fitting garment. Various modelling approaches are introduced, newly developed, and evaluated in terms of their usability for clothing development. The outcome is a general guideline for building a human-clothing model efficiently. Additionally, the integration of 4D scan data for model validation is explored in detail. Based on these methods, most tightly fitted clothing can be modelled.
