Facial angiofibromas (FAs) are benign hamartomatous skin growths that typically characterize tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC)-affected patients. Although isolated sporadic FAs may be observed within the general population, multiple lesions (≥ 3) represent one of the major criteria for TSC. Clinically, FAs appear as asymptomatic reddish-pink, fibrous, dome-shaped papules that usually involve nose, nasolabial folds, cheeks, and chin. At dermatoscopy, they show multiple white globules over a red-brown background and comma and/or hairpin vessels. The reddish hue may disappear under pressure.
