Ashy Dermatosis
摘要
Ashy dermatosis, also known as erythema dyschromicum perstans, is a chronic and progressive pigmentary skin disorder clinically characterized by gray-bluish macules of varying sizes, which may coalesce into larger patches. Hypopigmented macules or areas may also be visible, contributing to the variegated appearance of the skin. The primary dermatoscopic findings include discrete, small, gray-bluish dots (peppering) scattered over a bluish (hyperpigmented lesions) or whitish (hypopigmented lesions) background. When it comes to facial lesions, gray-blue dots arranged in a periostial pattern are the main clue.
