Rooted in ABA’s fundamentals, this chapter delineates the differences between training and mentorship, emphasizing their roles in staff development. This chapter uses ABA’s framework to explore behavior-change principles, emphasizing structured training versus mentorship. While training emphasizes skill acquisition and evaluation, mentorship fosters personal and professional growth.
