This study investigates the implementation of new adaptive tools in a serious game for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The aim is to evaluate how these adaptations, initially made with physical materials and later implemented in the digital game, can improve the players’ experience and performance. The research was justified by the need to customize games to meet the specific needs of children and adolescents with ASD. The methodology included the application of neuropsychological tests and the use of tablets, PCs and notebooks for interventions. The results indicate significant improvements in the participants’ cognitive and attention skills. We conclude that adaptability can be an effective tool in the development of games for this audience.

摘要
