摘要
This study was done to look at job stress since it influences Public Service, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Six particular goals of the study were converted into six questions and hypotheses. The researcher checked pertinent readings. Three theories grounded the studies: the Job Characteristics Model (JCM), the Person Environment Fit Model (PEF), and the Jobs-Demand Resource Model (JBR). Adopted was the descriptive survey research approach. Drawing from the 13,081 employees of the research, 3% of the population was chosen using a proportional stratified random selection method to generate the sample of 400 public service personnel. Consequently, the study made use of data from 400 surveys as none of them was destroyed. Data from the questionnaire was examined using a test–retest approach of reliability. Simple percentage, bar chart, pie chart, Simple Linear Regression and Multiple Linear Regression were used to summarize and examine the completed 55-item closed ended questionnaire utilized for data collecting. The results of the study led the researcher to advise government and corporate organization management to develop policies that can bring about sufficient reduction or modification of workload to decrease job stress and enhance employee performance.
