With the growth of the urban city, more emphasis has been placed on outdoor thermal comfort. The purpose of this study is to investigate the knowledge of outdoor thermal comfort in Mediterranean cities, and explore the different factors that influence it in urban activities, particularly for people walking and those who are stationary/seated with moderate activity. It will investigate the influence of wind speed, air temperature, humidity, and mean radiant temperature on outdoor thermal comfort. The study site, Feddan Park, is an urban space in Tetuan (northern Morocco), and it is a very important place for its inhabitants due to its historical importance and its strategic location. ENVI-met simulation model, Rayman, and results from 1167 questionnaires conducted in fall, winter, spring, and summer in the Mediterranean city of Tetuan were used in this study. The majority of respondents felt comfortable with the environment. While air temperature, mean radiant temperature, and humidity had a significant effect on thermal sensation, wind’s effect was unnoticeable. Different indexes were used in this study and compared to thermal sensation votes (TSV). PMV (predicted mean vote) had the closest results to TSV but needed to be adapted to Tetuan’s residents’ thermal sensation through a regression model.
