This article investigates the synergistic relationship between digital transformation and intelligent tutoring systems (ITS), emphasizing their potential to revolutionize education. Digital transformation involves adopting digital technologies to modify or create products and services, fundamentally reshaping education. Intelligent tutoring systems, powered by artificial intelligence, provide personalized and adaptive learning experiences by assessing student progress and tailoring instructional content to individual needs. The integration of ITS within digitally transformed educational frameworks offers opportunities for enhanced learning experiences, streamlined administrative processes, and improved educational outcomes. Key components of ITS, such as knowledge bases, learner models, instructional models, and user interfaces, enable these systems to adapt in real-time, providing immediate and targeted feedback, thereby optimizing learning. The article explores how ITS and digital transformation together enable personalized learning, facilitate data-driven decision-making, and improve resource efficiency.
