The concept of gender is a fundamental feature that is deeply embedded within the inflectional system of the Polish language and cannot be simply dispensed with. Consequently, the issue of gender fairness and gender inclusion is inherently complex. This is reflected in the vast array of terminology utilized in Polish scholarly literature pertaining to this subject. This chapter presents and describes this terminology, elucidating its evolution over time and delineating the concepts underlying its specific terms. To provide the most comprehensive overview, meticulous efforts have been made to identify and include a multitude of scholarly publications on gender in the Polish language.
