Indian Layered Deposits
摘要
Sukinda and Nausahi ultramafic complexes host the largest chromite deposits in India. The chromite-bearing ultramafic complex of Sukinda-Nuasahi is described as part of the Archean Greenstone Belt of Eastern India. Sukinda, along with the Nuasahi Complex, now produces 100% of India’s chromite ore and approximately 2.5% of the world’s chromite resources. Since its discovery, the Sukinda chromite belt has remained the most productive in India for the past six decades.
