Improving the Estimation of the Transient Response of Mechatronic Systems
摘要
This paper aims to demonstrate that improving the estimation of the transient response of a mechatronic system contributes to its efficiency and accuracy. Thus, having more efficient and reliable mechatronic systems contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The transient response is estimated by simulating the mechatronic system’s dynamic response as a lump-mass model. The model must include all the nonlinear differential equations of every element, and the solution is found by solving the complex system of equations with a numerical method. This work includes a mechatronic system consisting of a DC motor and a nonlinear transmission. The dynamic response analysis allows a better estimation of the time response instead of using only the actuators and controller models.
