摘要

Democracy’s cornerstone, elections necessitate trust and transparency. As a result of the demand for security, verifiability, and visibility, the voting landscape is always changing. This abstract outline a novel method for secure voting that integrates the Ethereum blockchain and India’s Aadhaar identification system. It combines the immutability and transparency of blockchain technology with Aadhaar identity verification. Solutions that guarantee voter and data integrity while respecting privacy are required for India’s electoral process. With the help of biometrics and OTP authentication, the Ethereum blockchain in this system authenticates Aadhaar cards and increases security. Election protocols and voter eligibility are managed by smart contracts on Ethereum, making fraud unlikely. Vote privacy is protected while maintaining the integrity of the process with anonymization and encryption of votes before storing them on the Ethereum blockchain. Smart contracts validate and tabulate votes post-voting against the list of qualified voters, ensuring transparency and accountability through open accessibility and third-party audits. Individual votes are kept anonymous during storage by homomorphic encryption, and voter eligibility may be confirmed without revealing private information according to zero-knowledge proofs. Thus the proposed solution, combines technology and security measures, not only tackles the current issues but also paves the way for elections in India that are more dependable, transparent, and trustworthy, strengthening the pillars of democracy.
