Exploring the Role of Augmented Reality (AR) Advertising on Brand Engagement in Jordanian FMCG Sector
摘要
Advertisements help establish the reputation of brands and provoke consumer engagement by conveying brand message deliberately and creating memorable experiences. Well-executed advertising campaigns can create a strong bond between consumers and inspire loyalty that will last ages. Influences of augmented reality (AR) ads on customer interaction with Jordan’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brands are examined in this paper, which highlights both positive and negative aspects of this marketing gimmick. The approach to brand engagement in the FMCG sector has made customers less interested in FMCG brands due to sterile forms of brand interactions that the industry usually employs. To address these problems, a different way of engaging called brand engagement through augmented reality technology (BE-ART) is recommended by the authors. This would enable FMCG firms to establish meaningful connections with their customers through immersive brand experiences. Employ BE-AR in advertising campaigns for Jordanian FMCG companies with a view to enhancing consumer interaction, perceived usefulness, Consumer attitudes towards AR and purchase intention. Moreover, it increases research evidence towards such applications as BE-AR for fostering efficient brand relationships within marketing literature investigations concerning augmented reality use in marketing perspective.
