Nowadays, the medical field has experienced a big enhancement due to the introduction of the Internet of Medical Things (IomT), which involves medical devices and applications with Internet connectivity. It is a subset of the Internet of Things (IoT) and is often called IoT in healthcare. Integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) further revolutionizes the field. This convergence enhances treatments, reduces costs, accelerates and improves the accuracy of diagnostics, and enables better patient monitoring without needing visits to medical facilities. This survey provides a comprehensive review of the current state of AI implementation over the IomT, focusing on optimizing healthcare services, early disease detection, and Health Data Management.
