Integrating Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Art Education Teaching Methods and Their Impact on Developing Students’ Creativity

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in art education presents transformative opportunities for enhancing teaching methods and fostering creativity among students. This study investigates the impact of AI tools on art education, focusing on their role in developing students’ creativity. A mixed-methods approach was employed, incorporating quantitative analysis of pre- and post-test scores and qualitative insights from interviews, observations, and artifact analysis. The results revealed significant improvements in creativity dimensions such as originality, elaboration, and fluency, with an overall increase of 51.3% in creativity scores. AI tools provided personalized feedback, inspired innovative artistic exploration, and enhanced student engagement. However, challenges such as initial resistance from educators and limited technological resources were identified. Recommendations include comprehensive training for educators, investment in technological infrastructure, and the inclusion of AI modules in curricula. While the study highlights the potential of AI to revolutionize art education, its limitations such as sample size and short-term focus indicate the need for further research. Future studies should explore the long-term effects of AI integration, its application in diverse artistic disciplines, and its ethical and psychological implications. This research underscores the importance of strategic AI integration to nurture creativity and innovation in art education.
