The purpose of this research is to examine the usage of the redundant “من/min/” in the texts of the Quran as they are presented by Al-Samin Al-Halabi in his book titled Al-Durr Al-Masun in the Sciences of the Hidden Book. The research is an attempt to apply the methods of artificial intelligence, in particular, natural language processing to analyze these usages. In addition, the focus is to be on the usages of the redundant “min” as far as its rhetorical and its grammatical role is concerned in the context of several verses of the Quran, and what artificial intelligence can contribute to uncovering the hidden linguistic patterns difficult to be discovered by other traditional ways. The findings are manifold. First, as was expected, the “min” plays a multi-dimensional role in the texts of the Quran. Its functions range from being enhanced to emphasize the point to inclusion and specification, which also enhances the depth of the rhetorical and the semantic level of the analyzed texts. Second, it was demonstrated how artificial intelligence can provide new tools for leading to a deeper analysis of classical texts, according to completely new dimensions. Third, this research is an important contribution to increasing the range of the characteristic linguistic studies that encompass the texts of the Quran and offer at the same time a model for applying modern technology to analyze classical texts. Finally, we emphasize the importance of continuing researching this area, using the methods of artificial intelligence, and most importantly, comparing them to the results of the traditional ways of interpretation to find out what this research has led already to the necessary consequences regarding the linguistic and the grammatical dimensions of the Quran.
