This study explores the role of mangroves in enhancing community resilience along the Red Sea coast, focusing on their ecological benefits, including coastal protection and fishery support. The paper also examines local livelihoods dependent on mangrove resources, such as fishing, agriculture, and ecotourism, highlighting the socio-economic value of mangroves. Successful case studies of community-driven mangrove restoration projects in Egypt, Sudan, and Eritrea are analyzed to uncover best practices and lessons for enhancing resilience. Furthermore, the study delves into the role of traditional knowledge and community-led adaptation strategies in managing mangrove ecosystems, emphasizing the need for stronger policy support and regional cooperation.
