The Future: Sustainability, Food Security and Resilience in an Age of Climate Change
摘要
There are perhaps two ways to tell the future. One is to use freight train trends (Martin, Target Earth: the grand scale problems of the 21st Century, Public Lectures of the Oxford Martin School, 2008, founder of the twenty-first century School at Oxford) to shape the narrative for the future. A second way comes from the much-quoted ‘The best way to predict the future is to create it’, which has been attributed to many people, including the management specialist P. Drucker. I shall use the former to guide this chapter, in the hope that lessons learned will help us create our desired future.
