The topmost layer of PSC is made of transparent electrodes like ITO (Indium tin oxide) or FTO (Fluorine-doped tin oxide). This layer makes a transparent and conductive layer on the glass plates, which will pass light through it. On top of the transparent layer, there is an electron transport layer (ETL). This layer conducts electrons and blocks holes from the active layer.
