Deep Fake has attracted the attention of stakeholders. Higher Education is not isolated from the disruption caused due to deep fake. Young minds are eager to experiment with new technology for learning and completion of academic assignments. The Chapter reviews the dynamics of deep fake in higher education. The published literature was reviewed to examine the issues underlying the deep fake in higher education. Google trends were evaluated to explore the interest of the stakeholders. It was found that deep fake is a double-edged sword for the higher education. It enhances the efficiency of the students and provides opportunity to explore multiple issues using deep fake technology. On the other hand, it deep fake has serious ethical issues along with plagiarism. The teachers need to be trained so that they can mentor students on judicious usage of deep fake technologies.
