Solid-state spin qubits are based on the electron spin in solid materials. We want to manufacture a spin system by confining/trapping a single electron in a quantum two-level system containing spin up and spin down, and then use electron spin resonance to control the spin. This chapter will discuss methods of trapping single electrons and implementing quantum computing in solid materials.

Solid-state spin qubits are based on the electron spin in solid materials.
